There is complementary soft drinks, coffee, juice when gaming. The grounds are so nice with a golf course, ponds, trails for walking There is also a short drive away a history museum. We also dined at the soup cafe in the small but nice food court area. Its good to see that they are expanding the seating area. We also dined at the buffet - very good variety. We dined at the 24 hour Sage Cafe (good food). We came out several hundred dollars ahead. We received some free play which was very nice. The casino has a very good collection of slot machine games.

I was impressed on how clean the room is. There was a large couch and comfy chair in the room. We also had some birds fly by and sit on our balcony. We received in the mail an offer for complementary two night stay. We had a very nice time at Barona Casino. This Casino has transformed from what I remember from childhood as a giant red metallic tent with Dirt Parking that my parents at times dragged me to for their great buffet, to a Very Unique Resort now equipped with Fine Dining, an 18-Hole Golf course, the loosest gaming areas with the cleanest air area, the best International buffet San Diego has to Offer, and hotel and Spa Service. About a 5 mile trip up the curvy Wildcat Canyon Road, Barona Resort and Casino appears out of nowhere after hillsides and farmland, like an welcoming oasis. Chief among them and one of the best is Barona. There are many casinos in the greater San Diego Area that will vie for your attention. Also, they have The Filipino Channel, which I don't think any other hotel has with their offerings.The only minor down points that I can think of is that there is no menu guide for the TV to see what is on each channel, so you are forced to channel surf to find something good on TV. An added bonus point for being able to program your Barona Club card to also be your Room Key.

The Hotel Room itself was very clean and tidy. Not only with the hotel staff but also with Security, Casino Staff and even the all the restaurant employees smile gleefully which just makes your day better. Overall Barona has the best service among all the Casinos around San Diego.
